Top management of VHM a.s. defines via this quality management policy in accordance with strategic plans the decisive plans for continuous improvement of the efficiency of the quality management system.

Our goal is to be a sought, commercially and economically prosperous supplier especially in the area of heavy steel castings, machined forgings, ship crankshafts and components, equipment of steel plants and rolling mills, forming equipment and rolled tyres for the railway industry focused on the increasing share of supplies of engineering products with high added value.

The quality policy is based on the vision and strategy of top management and marketing studies of the production branches undertaken. The quality policy is considered as a means leading the company to performance improvement.

We consider quality as a crucial element to achieve success and prosperity. Our creed is to produce quality products and provide quality services, meeting expectations of our customers, deliver just in time and at mutually advantageous costs.

We aim at keeping and permanently improving the quality of steel bottles and other products manufactured at the top level to achieve permanent satisfaction of identified or presumed needs and expectations of customer and other interested parties (hereinafter referred to as ”stakeholders”). We create appropriate working environment and social securities for our employees. We create favorable ecologic climate to our surroundings.

We want to be able to permanently compete and achieve significant position in domestic and foreign markets.

We set specific goals to improve quality of our production, effectiveness of the quality management system and to meet expectations of our customers such as reduced litre weight of bottles, dimensional tolerance kept, improved surface finish, reduced delivery terms etc., while reducing production costs.

In order to achieve these goals, the company management undertakes the following:

  • Quality Control shall be an integral part of the top management that is unambiguously responsible for meeting the Quality Policy and quality goals established,
  • We shall use our best effort to permanently improve the implemented quality management system according to ČSN EN ISO 9 001 standard and CZ state norms ISO/TS 16949
  • We shall systematically collect and analyze objective information about requirements and expectations of our existing and potential customers and monitor their satisfaction with our products,
  • We shall ensure high product quality through consistent adherence to regulations and instructions of the quality management system,
  • We shall focus development and innovation of steel bottles, pressure accumulators and other our products on perspective production programs determined by the company management based on marketing studies,
  • We shall orient ourselves to permanent improvement of all processes and activities, we shall implement production and inspection technology into all processes and activities,
  • We shall achieve advantageous process of products and services through increasing labor productivity and costs optimizing,
  • We shall provide active services to the existing and potential customers, inform them about development in the area of products offered by our company, recommend best choice and use of our products,
  • We shall pursue the feeling of accountability for quality of work of all employees and motivate them for permanent quality improvement,
  • We shall actively cooperate with suppliers and other partners to meet quality objectives,
  • We shall provide adequate resources to achieve quality objectives.

The company management expects from employees that:

  • they will adopt the Quality Policy and participate actively in its implementation and meeting of quality objectives,
  • they will meet all regulations and documents of the quality management system,
  • they will actively approach permanent improvement of their work,
  • they will be actively engaged into educational activities in the quality area,
  • they will meet safety instructions, keep order and improve working environment in their worksites.
