The management of VÍTKOVICE HEAVY MACHINERY a.s. decided to declare, in the interest of increasing and improving the level of the environment protection, in accordance with the company strategic intents and objectives, the following Environmental Policy.
- Consistently fulfill all obligations implied by legal and other requirements related to the environment protection.
- Reduce production of waste and increase the proportion of its further use.
- Pay permanent attention to the issues of effective use of natural resources and energies.
- Enforce principles of environment protection and environmental management with all our contractors and prefer those partners who apply the same principles.
- Permanently improve activities undertaken and working conditions of our employees to minimize their negative impact upon environment, safety and hygiene of work.
- Apply consistent prevention to avoid breakdowns and situations that might have negative impact upon environment and health of employees.
- Use and improve the system of employee education to increase their environmental awareness, expert knowledge and responsibilities for environment protection.
