Revamp finishing of the 1st roll stand drive of the heavy-section rolling mill

In the 2nd week of 2010 VÍTKOVICE HEAVY MACHINERY a.s. finished the assembly of revamped drive of the 1st roll stand on the heavy-section rolling mill at the plant EVRAZ VÍTKOVICE STEEL, a.s.
The demanding time-schedule of the building and the assembly works has been kept even despite of extreme climatic conditions at the turn of the year.
The new drive of the 1st roll stand solved by means of the spindles of VÍTKOVICE HEAVY MACHINERY a.s. own design with hydraulic spindles balancing is now subject to individual tests and preparation to the final complex tests before passing-over to the customer and putting into permanent operation.
