The first successful tests of Vítkovice equipment in India

The supervision at the assembly of Vitkovice equipment, i.e. the disk cooling bed of hot rolled plates and two plates pilers cut to the sizes, as required by the customers, in the framework of modernization project and increase of production capacity at the plant of our customer, at Bhilai Steel Plant. The assembly itself was started on September 2009, during the preparation of building foundations, on both types of equipment, at normal operation of run-out section of the plate rolling mill and finished in the course of February 2010, and after the first tests the works are still finishing, in particular on automatic run of control systems, including the tuning finish and synchronization of feedback of separate drives, hydraulic units, optical sensors and the like.
On the 10 -12th of February 72 hour hot tests were successfully performed on the cooling bed, where there were dispatched altogether 585 pieces of plates in the framework of the whole size requirement.
The same on the 20.-22th of February on both plate pilers there were successfully performed 72 hour tests, during which 500 pieces of plates altogether were placed into the pilers pockets.
